Costco has put a focus on Blu-ray videos this holiday season.

A feature story in the chain's December Costco Connection member's magazine explains Blu-ray technology and details the warehouse club's inventory of disc players from Vizio, Panasonic, Samsung and Sony. Sales of Blu-ray players are up 450% at Costco in the last year, according to the article.

"Blu-ray disc movies are now the focus of our department," said Claudia Augello, Costco's warehouse DVD/Blu-ray buyer, in the article. More than 150 titles are currently available in stores and online. The feature story is accompanied by full-page ads
