Have a Star Trac Treadmill that says powdered wax to wax the belt. I found some on a website in the UK and no local stores carry it. Where can I get it? It's called Calwax. What could I use instead of powdered wax?

does anyone else own one of these. I don't have the instuctions and need to know if the belt needs wax or silicone on it, It seems to slip alot and i think it is due to the friction on the board. Can anyone help?
All treadmills need a regular application of silicon oil to the board under the running mat. You need to apply a thin coating of the oil all over the board, getting right to the centre. This will help it run more smoothly and reduce wear through...
Ok, yes I realize i'm a moron. It's probably ear wax. They sell OTC drops to put in. Some people also use candle wax but I'm not sure how that works, maybe you could Google that. Don't worry about permanent damage! You'll be fine.
I was on the treadmill and listening to my ipod, I had my ipod on REALLY loud and of course I was sweating, when I sweat somehow earwax accumilates and Now i can't hear from my left ear BARELY can.
My sideburns weren't even thick to begin with but about 3 years ago i had this stupid idea to wax them...the hair grew back thicker and thicker so i kept waxing and waxing even more kinda like a treadmill i couldn't not wax or things would get...
its never going to be how they were before. thats the worst thing to ever do. dont ever take any facial hair (cept eyebrows, upperlip area) off by waxing. esp your sideburns.
my advice...maybe a bleach creme?
or you can get it...

Local Eyes Hawaii For World Championships
OCEAN CITY -- A local runner and trainer has earned an invitation to compete in a prestigious world championship race in Hawaii next month, but will likely need to rely on the generosity of the ever-giving Ocean City community to get there.
Corrine Banks, a single mom who works as a personal trainer, fitness instructor and nutritional consultant among other things at WOC Fitness in West Ocean City, has certainly left her mark on the regional running circuit with wins and top finishes in nearly every local event in recent memory. Banks also competes in national events ranging from 5K and 10K races to trail races and from half-marathons and full marathons to iron man competitions.
Treadmill Wax | Treadmills For Sale | Used Treadmills | Electric ...
Treadmills are among the most widely used fitness equipment in the world. Owning the equipment means having the responsibility of maintaining the machine in order to maintain a smooth operation and extend the life of the machine. Proper treadmill maintenance includes lubricating the treadmill belt. A well-lubricated belt moves more smoothly so your motor does not need to work as hard, which translates to lesser electricity consumption and more savings.
Treadmill belts are normally strong, even the less expensive ones. The problem is that the quality of the belt should withstand the high friction caused by a combination of many factors, including the quality of the belt, the treadmill deck, and the weight and force applied by the user. Friction produces heat, and along with tension, it destroys the treadmill belt and eventually the treadmill deck. Newer treadmill belts are usually made of polyurethane while older belts are made of polyester monofilament and/or cotton with a rubber or PVC coating.
