at any automotive parts store....ask for a fan belt lubricant...in the meantime, use a bar of soap

Horizon Fitness - Treadmill Belt Lubrication

I bought a treadmill but it needs lubricant. It doesn't specify in the manual what kind. So is there like a universal lubricant or something ok for all treadmills? Tell me names please and places to get them like a sports store or WalMart etc...

Either place where you ask will look at you funny. But I think that you should go to the sports store first, they probably have "professionals" (not people from the internet) who can tell you exactly what kind to use

We have a new treadmill and unfortunately the silicone lubricant leaked onto the mat during shipping. Now the belt has less traction which makes it harder to walk on. We've washed it several times with soap and water which has helped a little bit....
