Household concerns to take into account when buying a home treadmill I am looking into buying one, I want a fixed treadmill like one in a health club, not one you can fold up. Any advice on brands, or features that you may like on your model at home.

you are going to mainly want to look at horse power. You need to get one withwith about 2 1/2 HP or you could burn it out running on it. Ither then that they are all about the same.

I'm researching treadmills and want to know how much added benefit you get from a 10% incline option.
I would be careful with an incline especially if have difficulty with the knees or other joints. If do get a treadmill with an incline (and please check with physician), please work up to that level and don't start out on one or it may be too...

Any big sports goods shop will have it nowadays. You will find a wide range to choose from.
You could exercise on it, have your dog run round it instead of going to the park, get your kids to play on it. Would it be any good for running your lights/heating? Could we put them in gyms and power city blocks?
