"Sedentary behavior is as harmful as physical inactivity," Keith was quoted in the article. "I'm not tired at the end of the day. Also interviewed in the article was Dr. Hohn Thyfault , associate professor in the Departments of Nutrition, Exercise Physiology and internal Medicine at the University of Missouri. Dr. Thyfault spoke specifically about the role of inactivity in the alarming rise of diabetes, "Inactivity is a primary player in the development of diabetes," he related in the article.
