It’s Wednesday and my first therapy session was on Monday night.
I was still hungry all day and tired when I got home from work. I had a mild backache all day. My left shoulder was feeling loads better.
Second therapy session started as always, with the neck and back massage. Linda asked if I wanted to do cupping this time and I refused again. Told her to do acupuncture instead.
Needles in my lower back hurt as always – the ones in both my shoulders and on either side of my neck were ok. I was doing well!
As she was sticking the needles in, Linda explained that the ‘wet cupping’, or what she called “take blood” is not like what I experienced previously – they don’t cut with a blade – all they do is make one prick with a needle and then place the suction cups.
