I got a new weider home gym system how do I put it together?

it has 4 chrome bars, lat bar, leg lifts, and lots of pulleys

With the instructions and a wrench and perhaps a screwdriver!

where can i buy a weider 3130 weight system in charlotte, north carolina?

I live in north carolina, charlotte. i am looking to buy a weider 3130 weight system(its a home gym system) and anyways i was wondering if anybody know a store that sells this item? i already checked dicks sporting goods and sports authority but its an only online item for them, so i am wondering if there is a store that might have this item where i can buy it? and im asking this question because the shipping and handling fee is way TOO much which is about 150 dollars which is about half of what the system costs anyways and i'm strapped for cash, so if anyone knows a store where i can buy this system please respond to this post immediately please.

hmm strapped for cash eh.

Here's what you do bud.

You can use your own system and save a few bucks , i'll clue you in to "my" system, i call it dynamic isometrics.

If you put your forearms under the table and lifted, it would be like lifting weight you would use muscle and tendon to "curl" the table.

Dynamic isometrics a name i coined 3 decades ago or more, is simply pretending that table is there and you can pretend it's as heavy as you want ti to be.

Lift against the weight of that pretend table, you will use muscles that you normally would use with weights, but, by pretending the table is there you also act as the weights too using both sets of muscles in opposition with each curl, tendons and muscles working against tendons and muscles you are working both your biceps and triceps at the same curl, up or down .

Thanks for the points

I'm looking to buy a home gym system with a budget under $1k in the GTA area. I need help!?

I've been looking online for a while now for upper body workout home gym systems for my basement. I NEED one with a bench press that inclines.

So far, I have found a few "ideal" workout systems, but I cannot buy them in Canada (at least to my knowledge). The Weider C720/C650 strength systems are perfect for my needs, however I cannot find them in Canada.

I am looking for something with various workouts that would be very similar to those above that must include the following:
-Bench Press *incline and flat -> Smith is optional
-Lat pull
-Preacher Curl
Of course, I'll also be buying some free weights. I'm looking for a quality product that can support a lot of weight. I bench 135 right now, but that is improving weekly.

As already stated, I reside in Oshawa. I also have no previous experience buying workout equipment of any kind and don't know where. I do however, have a lot of training experience and know my exact needs and ideal workout.

Please don't recommend that I join a gym, there are none that I like near my house and I simply don't have time to go to one.

So, I am really asking for recommendations of similar workout systems to those above or even to http://www.comparestoreprices.co.uk/imag ... and where I can find these.

Thank you.

head to a fitness shop. NOT sportchek or some chain store, find an independent place if you cah. Talk to the sales person and give them your list of criteria of price and whatever else, and see what they suggest. Try a few different places if you have them. Independent places can often give you a good deal.

My dad recently bought free weights and I know he paid just over $1/pound for them so make sure you plan for that accordingly.

Crossbow, Pully System vs. Free Weights?

I've heard good things about this crossbow pulley system. Anyone use this type of system instead of or in addition to free weights?

well from experience
pulley systems are good for tightening, toning, and strengthening muscles
free weights are to get stronger and build muscle
