I think bowflex ultimate is a great home gym, but is there a brand you know of that is just as good for less money?
Trust me - use free weights. They are so much cheaper and they are way more effective. They train a lot more muscles than machines do.

I bought the Bowflex Ultimate 2 and have been working out faithfully and gradually looking better every week. I was curious to hear other folks' stories, good or bad.

You need to go somewhere and try both out first. No one can tell you what you are going to like better. It doesnt matter if the exercise works if you absoultely detest doing it.

also…it doesn’t target your back muscles very much.
but yes…if you can do 3 sets of this at full intensity, you would be in phenomenal shape….like a professional athlete
