If you have some, how often do you go on it (use it) and what type is it? I have a full gym with weights and everyting, but seeing that I am pregnant, it's getting a lot of dust on it now. Though I pick up my cross trainer tomorrow. So excited!!! Great low impact workout...I think i'll go on it every day,!! (well for at least for the next few weeks)
I use the equipment I have at home several times a week. A lot of it depends on the weather outside. If it's nice out, I'd rather go run a few miles outside than do something inside.
I live in a small apartment, so I don't have any fancy equipment, but what I have is more than enough to provide a good workout and keep me in shape. For strength training, I have several sets of free weights and resistance bands. Combined, one can do lots of different exercises and they don't take up much room. I also have some exercise tapes, a step, and a mini stair stepper for days when the weather isn't so great out. I also have a yoga mat and some accessories for yoga and pilates.
The equipment I have is cheap, small, but one can still stay in good shape without all the fancy equipment or having to go and pay for a gym membership.
What are some good low impact workouts/exercises that can be done at home without any machines and gyms.
Thanks in Advance

i cannot afford to go gym, and it's been nearly a year since i have started working out at home. i have brought a set of dummbells and its really been helping me out, i also do any excercise possible to keep me fit, and i've seen an increase in weight as im quiet slim and vegeterian.
i was wondering is it a big difference not going to the gym and working out at home. Can i still make the same impact on my body as people do working out in gyms?
any tips on working out at home i can do better?
No lie the best advise i can give is check out:

And look for Tony Horton!
He has a couple workouts that are easy to do at home i do one of them at my house every single day!
10 Minute Trainer and P90X!!!
GOOD LUCK!!!!
As much as I'd love to have 30 minutes per day to go out walking, I neither have the time to do so, and I definitely don't have the money for equipment or a gym. As a mom with full time college classes, and work almost full time, I just don't have the luxury of a lot of time to exercise.
So, what are some exercises that I can do at home that are low impact and only take a few minutes per day to lose weight and increase burning of calories?
Please, I'm looking for exercises that won't require jumping (need LOW IMPACT), and don't require me to purchase anything.

Loss of New 787 Line May Hurt Snohomish County Housing Market
(Source: The Seattle Times)
By Lynn Thompson and Drew DeSilver, Seattle Times
Oct. 30--The economic impact of Boeing's decision to build a second 787 assembly line in South Carolina will ripple out slowly, but one place that may feel it sooner than others is the Snohomish County real-estate market.
Boeing's announcement that it won't build the line in Everett was the latest bit of bad news for a county already hard hit by the slump in housing.
While most county observers said they expected the announcement, it still comes as "a pit in the stomach," said Deanna Sihon, vice president of consulting for New Home Trends, based in Mill Creek.
The county's new-home sales were already down. They totaled 1,748 for the 12 months ending in August, a sharp slide from a high of 3,148, recorded in the 12 months ending in August 2005.
"The question is really about perception. The jobs aren't going to go away in the short term, but people may be wondering if the sky is falling," Sihon said.
Options and Prices for your Home Gym
A home gym can be a wonderful investment in your health and fitness. Home exercise equipment can provide a workout just as effective as those in a commercial gym at a fraction of the price. Additionally, your home gym is available anytime, day or night, in the privacy of your own home. While your initial investment in exercise equipment may constitute a major expense, the money you’ll save on gym fees will quickly cancel out the cost. Some of the best choices actually cost the least, so consider price and likely results before investing in high-end exercise equipment. Some of the best choices in every price range are listed below.
Stationary bikes
Also known as exercise bikes, these sturdy machines are excellent first choices for a home gym. While some models incorporate a rowing machine action, most simply provide a workout for the legs and hips. Because they provide a good workout without high impact, stationary bikes are a good choice for beginners. Prices start at around $250, and can range as high as $1,000 for a top-end model.
