I was thinking of buying one of these multi-station home gyms. I dont have the time to go down to my local gym, and I thought this might be the best solution. But some friends say its not a good idea, some saying its better to be at the gym itself because youll have friends helping you and encouraging you, and others say that this device is a waste of money and its not as effective. What do you recommend? Any Ideas? I really need to do something about my work out but I have no time! Please help!

personally i dont think its a good idea. i got one of those and i simply didnt use it becuase its booring working out alone. in the gym i get more motivated by the trainers there and i can use 20 machines instead of one.

There are plenty of options here. I would do research on the warranty on the gym before I spent any money. Personally I like the Body Solid line of equipment.

I have brought it second hand and have worked out some of the things it's capable of but I want to know all of them does anyone have one or know all the exercises I can do with it?

There are tons of exercises you can do on such a machine. I suggest you go to the manufacturer's website and see if they have information there. Leg exercises, arm exercises, back exercises, ab exercises...it should be able to cover 'em all.

You "bought" a useful machine if you use it regularly and don't let it end up being a dust collector or clothes dryer, as many end up being.
