Gym equipment - Weights Bench?

I live in the UK and i am looking to buy a bench for my home, where i can lift weights. But i don't really know where to look for this type of gym equipment.

I have been on to the argos website and the best bench there for its value is this one...

I basically need a bench with weights (min 40kg) for under £100.
Can anyone recommend any other shops or sites i can go to ?

for under a £100 you will be hard pushed (no pun intended) to find better unless you look on e bay for second hand equipment which if you have transport is a good idea as there is a lot of this stuff about

what is the easiest way to loose weight without using equipment?

I want to loose weight but I have no time to go to the gym or go shopping for the equipment needed if at home. So what's the best way to loose the pounds without using anything?

The easiest way to lose weight -- Start out gradually
1) Weight yourself once a week and write it down and keep it where it is visible. Graph it if you are a visual person.
2) Exercise - write it down, keep it visible, graph it is you are a visual person -- the easiest exercise is walking and running. Start out walking and work up to a pace of 15 minutes to 17 minutes a mile. Then work up to 3 miles - you will burn about 500 to 800 calories, depending on your speed and hills. After you can walk a mile in 15 to 17 minutes, then start an interval training of walking, running, walking, running and walking -- repeat that for the 3 miles. Gradually increase the amount that you run.
3) Write down everything you eat. After a week, look at what you wrote down. Work to eat the same amount and breakfast, lunch and dinner, but cut out everything in between. Then start changing what you eat. Eat at home and fix vegetables, non-processed fruit (not canned fruit in syrup), with just a little meat.
Put all your carbohydrates in the morning and noon, for dinner do not have any bread, potatoes, or any dessert.
Look at your plate (only one plate) 1/2 vegetable, 1/4 fruit, and 1/4 meat (not fried, but grilled, baked or broiled). No food 3 to 4 hours before bed. No diet pop ever (soda or whatever you call it)
About once a month, write down everything you eat. Compare it to what you ate at the beginning. Keep track, you will be surprised how if you keep track you will change. Be honest with yourself.
I started this regiment and it worked. My cholesteral went down and my weight went down and I slept better at night.

Question about working out.?

I use this exercise equipment http://www.fit-shop.com/fitness-exercise -equipment/gyms/tuffstuff-apollo-5-home- gym.asp . I am doing different exercizes, just a little bit of everything. I do about 6-7 curls, stop, do about 6-7 lat pull downs, stop, do 4-5 seated mid-rows, stop, do about 7-8 floor mid-rows, stop, then i do some of the arm cross over exercizes with the pully. I do all of these with the most amount of weight i can do and low reps because i want muscle. Now, I just did this exercize a few times yesterday and today I am not sore at all, should I work out again? If im not sore are my muscles still rebuilding?

Well, if you want to build muscle, you aren't doing enough. The heavy weight is correct, but you should do at least 4 sets of 6-8 reps for each body part. Also, proper form is a MUST! Also, how is your diet? You should be getting at least 1-1 1/2 grams of protein per pound of body weight and about 4 grams of carbs per lb. This should be broken into 5-6 small meals per day. Bodybuilding is 60% nutrition, some say even more than that. http://www.bodybuilding.com/ has all the information that you will ever need to do it the RIGHT way.

Good luck, and stick with it. You should start to see results in about 4 weeks.

Okay, I am in desperate need of a way to lose weight, drastically, but need ideas in doing so. Please help.?

I am 19 years old, 5'9" tall, and I weigh nearly 300 pounds. I do not have the means to go under the knife, or even join a gym. I am so embarrased about my weight issues that it is hard for me to go out into the neighborhood to go on a walk because I am afraid everyone will stare at me. I do not have any money to buy any home equipment and I really need help. I am in danger of developing high blood pressure and diabetes. Other than that, I am extremely healty. I am an energetic person who has a lot of friends, but I hate shopping for clothes and I am definitely terrified of what I might have to deal with in my future. Please help. Any ideas will be useful.

Get up early when the day is fresh and walk for at least a half hour, walk as fast as is comfortable. Breathe in the fresh air, exhale negativity. You wouldn't worry so much about what people are thinking of you, if you knew how little they did! So, just do it! When you sit there thinking of reasons why you can't exercise, you are sabatoging yourself. Take the first step - out the door. Go Girl!!!

Diet and Exercise for a stay at home mom?

OK, so me and my fiance are heading to Florida at the end of Feb. and I desperately need to lose about 20lbs, still got that weight from having a kid and all. Were on a budget for shopping and I don't have treadmill or any equipment to exercise with, plus the idea of going to the gym isnt happening because I don't drive and I have a daughter who gets overly fussy. I need help finding a diet I can do on a budget and exercise tips I can do from home with nothing.... anyone have any idea? my fiance is playing a concert on the beach in Florida and I would really like to look good beside him when I'm there... Please help, I've researched a bunch and find that nothing seems to suit my ability... HELP!

Exercise DVDs! Invest in a couple of good ones (browse on amazon, there are loads out there) and make sure you do them at least 3 times a week (4 would be better if you can fit it in!). It's a great and inexpensive way to do exercise if you're on a tight budget or if you cannot get to a gym.

I started doing DVDs at home about 12 months ago - over the months I have built up a collection of about 6 which I rotate every few weeks or so. I love doing them - I can tailor the workout according to how much time I have, I don't have to make a fool of myself in front of other people, and some of them are also a lot of fun. I have toned up so much and feel a whole lot fitter. I also found that as I started to enjoy the exercise I also became more careful with what I ate!

  • Save Money With Fitness Equipment Leasing | Alex Ram

Health consciousness has increased the demand for fitness equipment leasing, as remaining healthy and maintaining a fit body has become a compulsion of modern lifestyle even in these difficult economic times. Although many people prefer to purchase the apparatuses for their personal, leasing is a great way to invest less and get a better deal.

Therefore, if you are thinking of purchasing items for your personal gym you should give a thought towards fitness equipment leasing. On comparing the merits and demerits of taking, the items on lease and buying the same items you will find that the weight age of advantages in taking on lease is greater than purchasing used or refurbished items.

The biggest advantage of taking all the gym items on lease is that you do not have to worry about the resale value, as it is a well-known fact that the value of all these items starts depreciating once you pay the money and bring the materials home. Moreover, you get the option of returning the old apparatuses after the expiry of the lease period and bring home the latest models on renewed lease.
