What is a good affordable home gym?

I need a home gym that is affordable (not cheap) and of great quality. Around $400 is a good price. PLease make sure it works and has ALOT of excersises. I woud prefer you to recommend one you have uses but if not, that is fie. Thanks

Compound movements that use multiple joints, such as dead lift, overhead press, and bent row exercise many muscles at once, and are preferred to isolation movements such as leg extension, flys, etc. Compound movements better simulate sports and work -- and are more time efficient.

What is the best home gym at an affordable cost?

I really want to get a nice body and I want to get a home gym so that I don't have to go to the gym. What are some good home gyms and what would be the cost of the machine? Thanks to all who answer!


The best home gym is a towel. Push-ups, sit-ups, stretching, calisthenics, Pilate's, yoga, dance, Tia Chi, don't require equipment.
A mat, rubber exercise band, and a rubber exercise ball, are all you need to do anything that you can do in a gym.

Eat only when hungry and that too not more than three times a day. Include uncooked vegetables and fresh fruits in ur meals. No food/drink other than water in between. Chew each morsel at least 32 times and u will notice that u get intuition to stop eating as soon as u have had enough.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve ur ideal weight in a reasonable period. Do not panic to loose it fast. No idea about the gym.

looking for affordable elliptical machine for weight loss in home?

I am looking to purchase an affordable elliptical machine so that I can lose weight in my home and not spend a lot of money at the gym. I believe that I would be able to spend about $400 on this. If any of you have suggestions on brands/models that would fit my criteria, please let me know.

Unfortunately, I have an old knee injury, and thus, the only machines which are comfortable for me are the Precor machines, which are super expensive.

So, the gym for me. Oh well, life's a *itch.


City approves plan for rodeo grounds

A master plan for renovating Hailey's historic rodeo arena was given a unanimous thumbs-up by the Hailey City Council Monday, and a round of applause from a diverse group of sports enthusiasts.

The plan calls for an ice-skating rink, an expanded skate park and a renovated rodeo arena, which has been used by the Sawtooth Rangers riding club since 1948. The new and improved rodeo grounds could also be used for concerts, farmers' markets and other community events.

Cowboys, skaters and hockey players and their supporters have been working with city officials since last summer to devise an architectural plan that would make everyone happy.

The Sawtooth Rangers were facing costs of upgrading the rodeo grounds, the nearby skate park needed to expand its terrain, and the Hailey Ice hockey club needed a home.

Somehow it all came together on Monday when Ketchum-based Ruscitto/Latham/Blanton architects presented a master plan for the city-owned property.
