Nautilus Inc. lost money in the third quarter but not nearly as much as the Vancouver exercise-equipment company has become accustomed to reporting.
The net loss of $100,000 for the quarter ending Sept. 30, which the company reported Monday, compares to a net loss of $4.3 million for the same period last year. On a diluted per-share basis, the most-recent quarter broke even, compared to a loss of 14 cents a share for same quarter in 2010.
Income from continuing operations for the quarter was $300,000, compared to a loss of $2.4 million for the 2010 third quarter.
The company, long known for its late night, long-running infomercials, attributed the improvement to a 16.8
