Are there any companies that make better exercise equipments than bowflex?
Well, I've never used a bowflex however, when I was going through physical therapy my PT I asked him why I see so many bowflex machines for sale in the swap sheet and classified adds. He said that he has one and loves it but that it does take a good amount of coordination to use. He said that he thinks that many people don't have the necessary coordination and give up on it after a while.

I was on the Bowflex website, looking at their prices. Is anyone here crazy/stupid enough to buy one of these. They have one on there that is $2,800, do you have any idea how much exercise equipment you can buy for that much money. You could buy a weight bench, weights, elliptical, and a treadmill, and still have at least $1,500 left over. Also, a good weight bench and weights, will last the rest of your life. Who else agrees that Bowflex's are way over priced and a ripoff?
They are pricey, but you can get great results using one. I worked out with my friend on his bowflex, and I was pretty impressed. As for price, I wouldn't buy one. But for some people, money isn't a problem.

On the one side the Life Insurance (Answer A. now if You like this option! ) has an appeal because like most People I don't want my loved ones burdened by having to shell out for the incredibly expensive funeral I've requested in my will, not even considering the forty two foot fully anomatronic sword pointing weeping Angel to mark my grave. The thing is the Bowflex ( Answer B. now if You prefer this option! ) will make me into a totally buff guitar wielding sexual tyrannosaurus in the best shape of my life...ever! Oh what should I do, please help out with an A. or B. pick and I'll go with the Peoples choice. Many thanks in advance for helping out with this life changing question.
I like the Emperor's idea to use the Bowflex for a headstone! Meanwhile I would buy the Bowflex, which will make you super fit and healthy if you use it for its original purpose and not just to hang your clothes on. You will be so fit that you will outlive the insurance policy by many years and the only risk will be if you overdo the sexual tyrannosaurus thing. Oh well, at least you'll die happy!
As far as the insurance, that 42' Angel would use up most of the payout, leaving your loved ones with a few pennies. Tell them that being healthy is very important. When they visit your grave, they could do a little training on the Bowflex, in your memory.

I'm looking to get the Bowflex Ultimate 2, and I'd like to know, from someone that's used one, how much space should I have around it?
Please note, if you're considering answering with:
"Usually with exercise equipment..."
"It looks like you need..."
"The Bowflex site says..."
"Call Bowflex and ask..."
Just don't bother.
Also, please answer THIS question. I'm not looking for someone to tell me what other machine I should get instead, or that they make smaller ones, or how to make an addition on my house to make room for it.
It's a subjective thing, I know, and I can't stress enough that I'm looking for SOMEONE THAT HAS USED ONE. I have about 10 feet from the wall it would be against, and plenty of room side to side. Mainly I need to know if the moving parts would hit the wall or if I could have it right up against it in the back, how much clearance I need for the attachments at the foot of the machine to move, etc.
Thanks a lot if you can help!
Dear god... "not much just room like a basement"
This is exactly the kind of answer I don't want. I know you don't own one or ever will, you are not helpful in any stretch of the imagination. Do you understand that some people could have a small basement? What does "like a basement" even mean? You can only buy this if you have a cement room without windows?
Please use this as an example of how not to answer my question.
not munc just room like a basment.
Looking for toning and cardio. Plus size is an issue. Can't exceed 6'5" in hight due to low ceilings at home. Bowflex revolution is my first choice right now but it's awfully expensive. Any thoughts?
seriously...
just get some dumbells
and get a book that instructs you on how to use them to tone almost every muscle in your body. There are so many exercises out their that you can do with dumbells, abs, back, arms, shoulders, chest, everything..
they are much cheaper than those machines
