I've been doing the traditional sit ups for quite some time now, with very little results, I do them for around 5 minutes twice a day. Does anyone know of any exercises that do not require equipment that could help me achieve results faster?
When you do your sit-ups, contract the abs while you do them that may be a difference. Also doing side bends, twisting side to side and contracting the abs from standing for 5 seconds. These help trim the waist and abdominals.

I have heard using an exercise ball. and placing your feet under your bed or the couch so they are secured where you cant move them and do sit ups like that. you can definitely feel the burn doing them this way. just what I was told. I havent...

Alpine Health & Fitness and Mayor Vanessa van Uden will celebrate the opening of a free community outdoor fitness circuit at the Queenstown Events Centre (QEC) on Saturday 19 November at 10am.
Two circuits, 1.1km and 1.5km in length, will follow the natural terrain of the QEC boundary with the two running tracks broken up by 6 and 13 exercise stations respectively. The circuits will be suitable for all fitness levels with each station having full instructions and beginner and advanced options available.
Specialised outdoor strength equipment located on the 1.5km circuit includes dips bars, a chest press, cross trainers, chin-up bars and an abdominal curl bench. A map located at the circuits starting point will highlight the location of each station and the exercise machines.
